The modern landscape moves at such a hypersonic rhythm that it leaves little time to make sense of the constant changes we face. Holding onto tradition often feels incongruent with the need to adapt to change while living in present times. A sense of confusion takes over and creates what appears to be a diverging society.

At Brut Cake we believe in “evolutionary modernization” where heritage is not lost but awakened through considered perspective.

We see the new in the old and facilitate  transformation. This year, to welcome the Lunar New Year (a cultural celebration steeped in customs) we take the conventional symbol of 2017, the Rooster, and allow it to manifest itself in many forms. As a whole, these synthesize the past and the ever changing present, embracing a multicultural world, and celebrating togetherness.
