Give a modern lift to Brut Cake products using vintage hand-woven country fabric from Chong Ming Dao following an eco-friendly design philosophy.

Each product created has a purpose and story. For example, the pocket belt was a commentary and statement about the role of women in society today. Historically, men's garments were tailored with pockets because they carried the coins.
Women’s garments were not made with pockets. They did have secret compartments that held love letters and trinkets of sentimental value from trysts. Today these we see women clothing created with faux pockets or non-functional pockets. To carry a smartphone a bag is needed.
Hence the pocket belt, was created. It is to be worn over dresses or pants. In style and with function women can let go of the purse and be free to move around.
